About Me

October Knits is the eponymous enterprise of a queer trans man obsessed with natural fibers and vibrant colours. Hi! Known to most as simply Toby, knitting, crocheting and queer history have been part of my life as long as I can remember, much like queer people have been using fiber arts to express our vibrant identities and fight for our liberation since long before the first recognizable Pride flag was flown. The world needs our unapologetic, vivid rainbows more than ever and I am honored to bring to bear my exceptional skills to provide our community with an exciting palette for revolutionary creations.
